Lidl GB is consulting on plans to relocate its existing store in Okehampton and build a new foodstore on land off Exeter Road.

Lidl is proud to have served the local community for many years from our store off School Way. Now we are keen to invest in a modern and sustainable new foodstore for Okehampton, built to the latest Lidl specifications to provide a much improved customer experience.

It is not possible to refurbish the existing store to meet our requirements, so we are proposing a multi-million-pound investment to create a more spacious store in a new location with an enhanced sales area, larger staff welfare and storage areas, solar panels on the roof and EV chargers in the car park to improve sustainability.

We would like to know what the local community thinks of the proposals.
